The purpose of the Billy Graham Rapid Response team and Calvary's Crisis Caregivers is to deploy chaplains who will bring a ministry of presence and prayer and appropriately share God's love, comfort and hope with those affected by disaster.

Get Trained... Get Involved

Crisis Caregivers' chaplains are specially trained to share God's hope and love with people facing disaster or everyday crisis.   Chaplains are trained in critical incident stress, stress management, and stress debriefing as well as in grief and loss, trauma, domestic violence, chaplaincy and the law, disaster relief, and depression.

Crisis Caregivers is offering Crisis Intervention training for anyone who desires to increase their knowledge of one-on-one crisis intervention techniques. Sometimes referred to as "emotional first aid," crisis intervention is not psychotherapy, rather it is a specialized acute emergency mental health intervention which requires specialized training.
