Crisis Caregivers Christmas Outreach
Crisis Caregivers teamed up with the Albuquerque Police Department Foothills Substation on December 17 to distribute 65 boxes of food to families in need. Chaplains collected and targeted area families for the outreach then packed boxes with donated food, blankets and toys. Officers were joined by civilians to deliver tidings of joy and a healthy dose of holiday cheer to each family.
BibleIsland and Crisis Caregivers Thank Area Firefighters
Calvary of Albuquerque's BibleIsland Children's Ministries partnered with the Crisis Caregivers to say thanks to the Albuquerque Fire Department this holiday season. In a special ceremony during the midweek BibleIsland services on November 16, children commissioned members of the International Fellowship of Chaplains to deliver thank you cards created in class. Three teams of chaplains then visited eight area firehouses on November 19, taking the cards and praying with firefighters. Firefighters were grateful for their thoughtfulness.

BGEA Award Ceremony
Calvary's Crisis Caregivers and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association held an informational meeting on March 21, 2009 to go over recent ministry news, as well as to award twenty-two individuals with Presidential Services Awards for their volunteer service in 2008.
